The Photography Studios for Amazon work with the largest and fastest growing in-home studio network in the national with state-of-the art equipment and technology innovation. The Photography Studios are setting industry standards while creating new ways for showcasing imagery; both still and video. They are continually pushing beyond the traditional boundaries of photography and videography to be the leaders for images for ecommerce retailers.
Amazon is looking for a dynamic Imaging Associate with a deep portfolio to work in our fast-paced e-commerce Digital Imaging Services. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven understanding of the Photoshop skills and the ability to raise the creative bar through commercially relevant imagery. The ability to work within and across large, interdependent teams is a must, so the right person will have an implicit understanding of the balance needed between artistry, communication, and cooperation.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Execute higher-order imaging retouch and more complex processes such as Color Manipulation, Hue/Saturations, Masking, Highlights, Shadows, etc. Maintain consistently high standards for accuracy and productivity.
- Assist in Developing, maintaining and ensuring usage of Knowledge bank/Standard operating procedures
- Contribute to continuously improve the Color Author teams workflows and processes.
- Learn and become the primary subject matter expert on all task within Color Author.
- Assists in implementation of new processes for integrating new marketplace, new categories, or any other business initiative that requires imaging support
- Partner with Studio Ops team and other support functions to provide timely updates and feedback
Experience and Qualifications:
- Intermediate/Advanced Photoshop Skills
- Strong Knowledge in photo editing or Retouch
- Work experience in retouching, masking and color authoring
- Proper utilization of the provided photo editing software
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Basic Qualifications
- Degree in Visual communication or any degree along with any multimedia background (can be from any known private institutions)
- Proficiency with MS Excel and FTP tools
- Familiarity with Mac OSX networking protocols, including scripting capabilities
